Developing final ideas for paper sculpture.

I decided that my final design will be made from the triangles I made my previous 3D swan out of. I am now looking at ways to make it look more interesting visually.

With this one I covered white paper in different colours of chalk pastel whcih gives the colour a grainy effect. It reminds me abit of the edable necklaces that you can get made from sweets.  

Here I was looking at the individual triangle as a structure its self.

Here I used newspaper to create a ring. I quite like how random it is, because not one of the triangles are the same.

I was trying to create new shape, something that might be a bit more visually interesting.

I then went on to look at using bright coloured paper like Jen Stark uses in her work. I really liked how bright it was and decided I wanted to use it in my final piece.

I made each rings a little different, notice one looks spikier than the other. I quite like them contrasting against each other in that way.

I quite like how these are linked together, make them a bit more attractive.
